It is impossible to discuss the value of investing in people and not find ourselves worshiping God - what a perfect picture of investment. God is the major stockholder. No matter who he later uses to enhance our characters, we need to remember the magnitude of God's investment in our lives. The greatest primary investment He made was the inflated, unthinkable price of redemption that He paid. No one else would have bought us at that price. He paid the ultimate price when He died for our sins. God has an investment in our lives. First of all, no one invests without the expectation of gain. What would a perfect God have to gain from investing in an imperfect man?? According to scripture, we possess treasure. However, the treasure is "of" God. This treasure originates from God. It is accumulated in us and then presented back to Him. Your inheritance is encased in your treasure.
