Our past becomes the demons our mind refuses to heal. All our emotions are clouded as we forget what it means to feel
Hardened is the soft spots, as pain has made them rust. Slowly slipping in us the human becomes the beast within the cage.
The fears become the hate that creates the rage, Holding onto the things that always stays the same.
The war we fight is lost as we fight against ourselves. No one understands us, as we have lost sight of the things that speak the truth, Many never see the lies they create themselves.
Still the world forgets them - As the prisoner loses and forgets themselves.
