First off, I'd like to say how truly impossible it is for anyone to describe themselves in under five-hundred words. Yet, I will do my best.

This photo is of myself and my father, a man who's character, integrity and perseverance I respect and shamelessly seek to emulate. I have been incarcerated for about five years and through his dedication and support I have been able to grow as a human being and flourish in a horrid environment rather than sink to a level of animal barbarism that many drop to. He has lost his arm, watch his youngest son succumb to drugs and overcome the disease of alcoholism. Now, he lives to help others pull their lives out of the bottle and gives me more support that I warrant I deserve.

I am a person who loves life. It is not always easy and it makes sure that each of us is tested in our own unique ways, but truly, life is beautiful. As far as I know it is my only one and I try and live each day to its fullest no matter what my situation may be.

I believe in expanding the mind to learn as much as possible if for no other reason than the personal growth brought about by the learning. I think that without growth the spirit will stagnate into insignificance. At this point, death becomes no far thing. When we continue to grow, who can guess at what is possible in a lifetime.

My hobbies at this time revolve mostly around writing and sports. I am a very active person and so I am drawn to the passion and intensity that define sports. Football, basketball, and baseball are my favorites but I follow a little of everything. One of the few things I enjoy more than watching one of my favorite teams play is only to be playing myself.

Most nights I spend the quiet hours brainstorming stories, writing poems or sometimes even the occasional song; though, my singing isn't the best. Rock has always been my first love in terms of music, but my tastes have grown over the years. In my writings, I enjoy the release of emotions that always flow with the words; it is a soul-soothing experience. Someday, I'd like to finish a book but thus far I've been unsuccessful.

I would like to thank any and all who thinks enough of my words to possible seek me out. Also, I would be forever thankful to anyone who feels they'd like to send any photos. I see nothing but walls and anything else is always lovely. Thank you, I look forward to any kind responses.
