Hi. My name is Rickey Jones. I'm seeking "true friendship only." I am 40 years of age, college educated, intellectual, humorous, but also serious minded. (I do enjoy smiles and laughs). My hobbies to pass time are reading, writing, and occasionally working out. I presently have 6½ more years to serve before becoming eligible to meet the parole board. I have been incarcerated for 18½ years. My ambitions, desires and dreams are to some day become a paralegal or attorney if released for I love helping others by working on their cases because I've somewhat learned to master the science of law during my stint of time success-wise, but unfortunately, I have been unable to set myself free as of date.
One reason I seek "true friendship only" is because placing people on the outside world in situations to where they become "totally committed" 8 times out of 10 are relationship to me that are destined for failure for those who may become dependent on others to be there to achieve certain obligatorily tasks. I do not want to be the one to place potentially good, caring individuals through such restraints. I would rather meet someone, correspond with them, although on a level of truth but always leaving the door opened if that special someone found other avenues of life they would like to travel.
As mot prisoners seek to use those unwary for a financial gain game, I am not one to play any games with people's feelings and emotions. I am an honest man, who made a serious mistake long ago in this life when I was 22 years old. I treat people respectfully the way I would want to be treated.
